Description

Wrecked Battlefield takes place in the aftermath of a battle: trenches have been dug throughout the map and destroyed vehicles and dead trees are scattered across the terrain, alongside sandbags and crates. Elevated hills surround the whole area. Unlike most other maps in this guide, Wrecked Battlefield appears in the regular survival rotation as well as Hardcore.

Design & Path

The path starts at a portal and ends inside a cave, cutting through the trenches and weaving around the natural structures on the map. The terrain has two distinct ground levels — one at the same height as the path and one slightly elevated — which matters when deciding where towers can actually reach.

Strategy

• There are many cliff spots on this map, so cliff-exclusive towers are highly recommended.
• Those cliff spots tend to be spread far apart, which makes it harder to buff several of them at once with support towers like the Commander or DJ Booth.
• You cannot place towers directly at the start of the path — plan your first line of defense around the first or second corner instead.
• The map has a lot of turns and corners; short-range towers such as the Gladiator or Warden benefit strongly from this layout.
• The Ace Pilot performs well in several spots, especially around the large turns, and is particularly strong near the back of the map — though enemies take a while to reach that area.
